IT support for professional services firms.

Managed IT for West Sussex consultancies, surveyors and agencies. Hybrid-first working, project-level SharePoint, and mobile device management that lets people work anywhere without losing control of the data.

Hybrid-first, by design

Most consultancies, surveying practices and agencies we work with are half-office, half-everywhere. A senior consultant is in a client boardroom on Tuesday, at home on Wednesday, back in Horsham on Thursday. The IT has to follow them without being fragile. We build Microsoft 365 tenants with Conditional Access, Intune device compliance and SharePoint as the source of truth — so the office network is never the single point of failure.

Project-level SharePoint

Shared drives mapped to H:, with eight years of "Old Projects" folders, are not a document strategy. We set up SharePoint with a site per project, inherited access controls, and clear lifecycle rules that archive the site when the project closes. Finding the latest version of the client report stops being a daily cost.

  • One SharePoint site per live project, access limited to the team
  • Version history retained, so rollbacks don't depend on a lucky backup
  • External sharing controlled — links expire, guest accounts are reviewed
  • Archived sites moved to read-only at project close, with retention applied

Mobile device management

Laptops, iPhones, Android tablets, a surveyor's rugged handset. Intune and Defender give you one place to enforce encryption, deploy apps, push updates and wipe a device when someone leaves or loses it. Personal devices accessing email are covered by app protection policies — work data stays in the work apps, personal photos stay on the phone.

Client NDAs and Cyber Essentials

Most professional services contracts now include an IT security schedule. Clients ask whether you hold Cyber Essentials, whether you encrypt laptops, whether you have documented incident response. We build the stack so you can answer "yes" to every line, and we produce the evidence in a format your client's procurement team will accept.

FAQ

Professional services firms ask us

How do you handle consultants working at client sites?

Intune-managed laptops with BitLocker, Conditional Access requiring a compliant device, and Defender for real-time protection. Working from a client office or a coffee shop doesn't change the controls.

Can you replace our mapped network drives with SharePoint properly?

Yes. We plan the migration per folder, set up the SharePoint site structure, train users and keep the old drive read-only for 30 days so nothing gets lost.

Will you help us answer client IT questionnaires?

Yes. We keep a pack of evidence — Cyber Essentials certificate, policies, incident-response plan — ready to share when a client's procurement team asks.
