What's covered

Microsoft 365, end to end.

We run Microsoft 365 as the default productivity and security stack for every client. Whether you're on Business Basic today or running a messy mix of personal OneDrives and shared mailboxes, we'll tidy it.

Licensing & billing

Business Basic, Standard, Premium and Apps for business — ordered, assigned and billed through us at cost plus handling. Right-sized every quarter so you're not paying for leavers.

Tenant migrations

Mailbox and OneDrive migrations from Google Workspace, legacy Exchange, IMAP or another 365 tenant. Cutover planned out-of-hours, user communications written for you.

Business Premium upgrade

The single best security-per-pound move for most SMEs. Adds Defender for Business, Defender for Office 365 P1, Intune and Entra ID P1 on top of Standard.

Microsoft Defender for Business

Endpoint detection and response (EDR) with automated remediation, attack-surface reduction rules, and a managed console so you actually use it.

Intune & Conditional Access

Device enrolment, compliance policies, app protection and Conditional Access so your 365 data stops living on personal laptops.

Teams, SharePoint & OneDrive

Proper site architecture, retention, external sharing policy, and a plan for what lives where. See the section below on SharePoint vs OneDrive.

Windows 11

Windows 11 migration after the October 2025 EOL.

Windows 10 end-of-support hit on 14 October 2025. Extended Security Updates run to October 2026 — paid, per-device, and not a long-term plan. If you're still on Windows 10 you have three options: upgrade in place, replace the hardware, or buy a year of ESU while you decide.

  • Audit every device against Windows 11 hardware requirements
  • Replace or upgrade, rolled out in waves via Intune
  • Autopilot for new starter devices — out of the box, no engineer visit needed
  • Group Policy and legacy app testing before the cutover

SharePoint vs OneDrive — the short version

OneDrive is for one person's work in progress. Think of it as "My Documents" in the cloud. Only that user edits it, others see it when it's shared.

SharePoint is for the team or the business. Folders, permissions, retention and version history that survive the person leaving. Every file that more than one person needs lives here.

Teams is a chat layer on top of SharePoint — every Teams channel has a SharePoint site behind it whether you can see it or not.

We design the structure once with you, then migrate the old shared drives into it.

FAQ

Microsoft 365 questions, straight answers.

Is Microsoft 365 Business Premium worth the price jump?

For most 5–50 user businesses, yes. Standard to Premium is roughly £10 per user per month more and adds Defender for Business, Defender for Office 365 P1, Intune, Entra ID P1 and Azure Information Protection. Buying those separately costs more than the Premium uplift. It's the easiest security win we make on any new client.

We're on Google Workspace — can you migrate us to 365?

Yes. Gmail, Google Drive, shared drives and Calendar all move. We plan a cutover weekend, run mail coexistence during the transition, and rewrite your shared-drive tree into SharePoint. Users keep their addresses and history.

Do we still need third-party backup for Microsoft 365?

Yes. Microsoft protects the platform; they don't guarantee recovery of a mailbox a user deleted six months ago. We layer a third-party backup over Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams with 12-month retention as standard. See our backup page.

Our Windows 10 PCs still work — do we have to move to Windows 11?

Security-wise, yes. Windows 10 stopped receiving free security updates on 14 October 2025. ESU buys you a year of patches at a per-device cost but that ends October 2026. Any device still on Windows 10 after that date is a Cyber Essentials fail and an insurance problem.

Can you manage our 365 tenant alongside our internal IT?

Yes. We often take on tenant management, security and reporting while the internal team handles user support. We agree scope on paper so nobody steps on anyone's toes.
